What kind of clients do you typically work with?
I work with startups, scale-ups, and growing product teams — but there’s no strict profile. Whether you’re an early-stage founder with just an idea or a company facing complex scaling challenges, I can step in to provide clarity, structure, and technical direction.
Do you code or just advise?
Both. I’m hands-on when needed - whether it’s system architecture, backend code, DevOps, or even writing SDKs. I also work at a strategic level with founders, product teams, and engineers.
What tech stacks do you work with?
I’ve worked extensively with Node.js, Java, Angular, AWS, and more. But technology is just a tool - I choose stacks based on your product goals, team skills, and long-term maintainability. The right solution always comes before personal preference.
What’s your typical engagement model?
I offer project-based, retainer (fractional CTO), or advisory-only models - depending on your needs and team structure.
Can you help define product or system requirements?
Yes - I often bridge the gap between product ideas and technical implementation, helping define specs, flows, and priorities before writing a single line of code.
Can you work with our existing team?
Absolutely. I’ve worked alongside internal dev teams, external vendors, and hybrid teams - I adapt quickly and focus on alignment and clarity
Can you help with existing systems or just greenfield projects?
I do both. I’ve worked on legacy migrations, performance improvements, and modernizations, as well as greenfield architecture and new product development.
What services do you offer?
I offer fractional CTO support, solution architecture, technical discovery, system design, backend development, R&D prototyping, and engineering coaching. I also lead end-to-end projects when needed.
How do you usually start a project?
We begin with a short discovery session to align on goals, pain points, and priorities. From there, I can propose a roadmap, architecture plan, or immediate action steps.
We don’t have a technical cofounder - can you fill that gap?
I can act as a fractional CTO to bring technical direction, architecture, and execution strategy - without needing to hire a full-time senior lead right away.
Where are you based? Do you work remotely?
I'm from Kyiv, Ukraine. But currently based in Barcelona, Spain, and I can work with teams across the globe- fully remotely, with async and real-time collaboration as needed.
Are you open to relocation?
I’m currently working on remote-first engagements, but I’m open to short-term travel or full relocation for the right opportunity - especially if the project is high-impact and aligns with my expertise. Let’s talk.
